Minimum Set:
-Internet Connection (128kbps minimum upload link.)
-Icecast server
(mention the different options to get a mountpoint plus the possibility to install one as it is stated on the floss manuals icecast entry)
-Stream machine (computer running GNU/Linux)
2.2GHZ dual core, 4gig ram will be capable of providing a stream with 2 targets, high and low resolution. Firewire card or USB port for video input.
-Webcam with V4l (video for linux) support
In case we don't have a Digital Video camera available, we can still use any webcam supported by GNU/linux, there are many that will do the job. You can do a quick search here to know if yours is supported: http://www.qbik.ch/usb/devices/
-External microphone
We should avoid using the internal microphone since it pick all the computer noises. (I always use alsamixer, phps it will be nice to add some info related to how to be sure you mic is working well?)
Conditions allowing, an Ideal set could comprehend the following:
-VGA to composite video scan converter
-Video mixer
-Digital video camera with firewire port
-Audio Mixer
-Sound Compressor
-Computer to generate credits
