@mark thanks! Now I've just got to find the rest of the *.pd examples... I was hoping there was a zip file that had all of the examples; I found an old simple_synth.zip on an old website, from, it looks like, around 2008 that has some of the early examples. I'll keep looking. Thanks again!

@mark looking for a link to the downloadable examples referenced in the "Sin Wave Oscillator" section of the Oscillators chapter in the very interesting Pure Data book I found on this website. thanks! (hopefully you know where they are?)
